I have recently heard of a relief for itchy sore skin and allergies.

You need to make a sage tea and bathe the affected area with the cooled solution.

My friend has had great results using this method and I would love to hear from any of you who use this as to how you found it teddy hug

Skin Allergy Relief Empty Re: Skin Allergy Relief

Hi Lesley, I am still having itching problems with Rooney. It is mostly the top of his head and between the eyes. I find aloe vera gel soothes the itching but it is not curing it. Will give sage tea a go as well.

It is worth a try - my friend has had great results with her daughter's schnauzer Very Happy

HOW TO MAKE THE TEA/TISANE
Put 15g of dried herbs (sage in this case) in a warmed china, enamel or ovenproof container. Pour 600 ml boiling water over the herbs and cover to prevent the loss of volatile oils in the steam. Allow to steep for 10-15 minutes. Obviously to use on the skin like this you need to allow it to cool and if you use fresh herbs you will need about 3 times as much Very Happy
