Goodbye my Mollie.

Post by j7ll on Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:38 pm

My precious little girl went to sleep for the last time on Tues 27th Feb 09 at 12.25. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but it was time for us to say goodbye.

Mollie you were our princess and will always be in our hearts and minds. Sleep peacfully sweetheart - 'til we meet again.
I will always love you
Mummy

I am so sorry to hear your news. It is devastating (I know) when we lose our babies and my love and sympathy go out to you at this time.

I hope that one day in the not too distant future, the pain of losing Mollie will have lessened enough for you to start to remember the happy times you had with her and the love you gave her as well as the love she gave you in return.

Rest in Peace little Mollie - run free at rainbow bridge and may all the other little doggies there come play with you and keep you safe for your mummy xxxxxxx

What a sweet princess you are - so pretty - run free sweet girl xxxxxx wub wub wub

Hi thanks for your kindness.
I have taken the loss of Mollie very badly and maybe by sharing my beautiful girl will help in my grief. She was twelve years old and was my world and I hers, life without her is very painful. People keep telling me it will hurt less and less but I can't see that happening.
I have Ruby & Leila and I am so glad I got these little ones they give me a reason to get up in the morning.

I have many pics of the puppies and when I feel a little better I will post them. Jill.

You have two beautiful young ladies there Jill and I am sure they will bring you comfort. Try not to think of Mollie as having gone away - more that she has just gone into another room and although you cannot see her she is still there - when you close your eyes and think of her she is there in your mind and in your heart! wub wub

So sorry to hear of your little one. Its awful when we loose them and they leave that empty feeling. I still grieve for my dog I lost 20 months ago I think of him most days. You will never forget her she will always be in your heart.

Your puppies are gorgeous. Very Happy

Run free little one. kisses

I know how you feel Jill - I'm so sorry.
We had to make the decision to euthanise our 16 year old cat just before Christmas & it was devastating to me too but she was in so much pain. I still miss her so much & talk to her memory.
We got a new cat last week but chose one purposefully so completely opposite to her. My doglet Mimi & this big, bossy boy pusser Bailey have helped me to come to terms with her loss, as they give me so much love & affection I can't help but love them in return.
I hope the pain will start to fade for you soon & your lovely pupsters will help you cope. You will never forget Mollie of course but one day I'm sure you will start to smile when you remember her & the good times. It's starting to happen for me now; every time I think of Belle I focus on the years of happiness she gave me & try to push the negative memories away; cos after all they were only a tiny percentage of her life.

Thank you Rose.
She was a special little girl and I miss her. I visit Rainbow Bridge every day and it may sound daft but its helped me as I cannot go down the bottom of the garden to her grave yet, I just go to pieces.
I don't know how long it will take till my grieving ends as I have never suffered loss before. xx
Everyone on here loves there little dogs so much, and I think you are all wonderful. xx

It will get easier Jill as time goes on especially as you have two llovely little girls who will help take your mind off it. You never really get over it but one day you will find yourself smiling at the things she did and laughing at your memories... and then it becomes more bearable big armhug
