Don't know hun - I think that is what Pets at Home do because theirs is always full of water crystals.  I would complain to Berriewood about it and see what they say.

How was it packed?  Wolftucker comes in a thick cardboard box lined with thick polystyrene and is delivered by a normal courier yet it doesn't even start to get soft teddy hug

Liz if you recall I had the exact same problem with my nuggets, although they were ordered directly from Natures Menu website and delivered next day via Fed Ex. They were in one of those polystyrene boxes with an ice pack on top and were half defrosted and that happened to me twice, which is why I won't order anything like that again to be delivered. The rest of my order, which was the blocks of Natures Menu were fine, so I think it's the fact that the nuggets are small and loose in the bag so they defrost easily, whereas the blocks are packed up against each other so take longer to defrost. It wasn't even hot weather when I had my order, so I can imagine how yours are Shocked

Dad's Wolftucker was delivered in the middle of the hot weather and was still totally frozen, no sign of any defrosting at all. We had one hell of an argument one day with PAH because they were selling food that had defrosted and refrozen. We did get an apology from head office but it made no difference, we refused to buy it again.

I wouldn't refreeze it Liz, but it is up to you.

Yeah that is exactly how mine were.  When I phoned up Natures Menu at the time they suggested I just refreeze them.  Now I know people say it's okay to do that and I have to confess to refreezing a small bit of liver that I bought for Daisy, but if I am paying out good money for delivery then I expect my order to arrive frozen.  I would just try a different food Liz as unless you go and pick up the nuggets from a shop yourself they are going to keep arriving half defrosted.

Will re freeze the bottom bags. Middle bag I can feed today on Henry and maggie to rid but not sure about the half and half ones... This is a total game so no will be having the nuggets ... Good because they r in nugget form but what's the point if it comes to mush pointless

What I also hate about the nuggets is the consistency of them when they are defrosted, they are just like a load of mush. When I try to use a fork to get them out of the container they all fall apart.

I think quite a few people feed food frozen or party frozen.  I've heard of people giving frozen to stop a dog who eats too quickly as obviously it will slow them down.  Also heard of people filling a kong with minced up meat, freezing it and then giving it to their dog, which I guess keeps them busy for quite some time.

Liz I am so sorry to hear that. At least they are refunding you. I think that Nuggets are too small to be sent other than in their own refrigerated vans. All but one or two blocks of my food was starting to thaw and I used them up first and they had been travelling for two days and perhaps hotter weather than this week. I will be trying Wolf Tucker as soon as they have eaten a bit more of the Berriewoods. I think that Wolf Tucker would be delivered the next day which has to be better.
