Can Milbemax have side effects?

I gave Mali & Tasha their worming Tabs on Saturday morning . I have been using Milbemax for a while now . Since then Mali had a bit of constipation and this morning so did Tasha. I have been wondering if it could be the Milbemax. Tasha had a chicken wing for the first time yesterday but Mali tried to chew hers but gave up so Tasha ate it for her so she had two altogether, could that be the reason? Oh and Tasha had her Booster jab on Friday but I wouldn't think that could be a cause. I don't think it to be a problem I obviously will as always keep an eye on the situation.

There is a lot of bone in chicken wings and bome makes the stool harder so that could count for your constipation of Tasha. Although Mali didn't eat her wing she did chew on it so might have gotten some bone and meat as well. I use Milbemax myslef and have never experienced side effects but that doesn't say there aren't any!

Every dog reacts differently to the amount of bone. For example, Javari can eat 8 chicken necks and have no problems with his stools but if I give more than 2 to Kiran he is very constipated so I always make sure Kiran gets some extra meat with it to compensate.

I doubt the bone would have gone through the system that quickly and I don't find constipation but firmer stools ie drier motions though that can sometimes lead to extra straining. Make sure they have plenty of water. It is possiboy the milbemax xxx

I wasn't sure the wings would have got through that quickly but they are both better tonight.

I will see how Wispa and Poppy get on as I have just picked up some Milbemax from the vets for them, it has changed since the last lot used to be small white pills and now is a chewy tablet x

The Milbemax I got were white and oval , 1 for Mali and 2 for Tasha.
