you tube matted murray
I have been looking at Shih Tzu's on you-tube ( i know, how sad am I ) and I came across an episode of Animal Planet . If you type 'matted murray' into the search click on episode 2 shih tzu lhasa apso ( you'll find it ) and watch this episode I promise you will be horrified at the start but elated at the end. Stick with it because he is absolutely beautiful .....Tuppence will never appreciate how much I love her but she will never get into that state, even though I do have difficulty at bath time at least I am able to brush and blow dry her why do people take on a dog they have no time for.It makes you really appreciate the time and effort rescue organizations give to all suffering animals . So lets hear it for all the Rescuers out there you really are a breed apart and worth every penny we can give for your help in helping the helpless. ( gosh I do go on )

Re: you tube matted murray
OMG How on earth can anyone leave a dog to get this ba. It was heart breaking I only watched it knowing there was a happy ending. I love grooming my two even though Tasha is a lot harder work than Mali because her fur is so think but she looks so lovely after wards
Re: you tube matted murray
It really does break your heart to see the cruelty that is dished out to so many defenceless animals what did they ever do to us. It is quite a heartwarming story though and didn't he go to a lovely home . I wonder how he is doing today. I couldn't believe the amount of coat they managed to remove ..and it still held the shape of the dog....unbelievable.......!!!!!!!!

Re: you tube matted murray
Poor little Murray, I'm glad he made a full recovery. I had to get out the tissues for this one and it's not the first time I've seen it.
It makes me sooooo mad about people who let their dogs get like this and put a breed ment for indoors outside. It just shows total ignorance. It also annoys me that these people haven't done their research, they could easily have had him clipped before it go anywhere near as bad.

Re: you tube matted murray
I have just submitted the video to youtube for animal abuse!! Some people just should NOT have dogs. There is a line you just don't cross. Anyone with half a brain could see that the poor dog did not like it. Her body language showed she was distressed. Also who in their right mind grabs their pets by the scruff to move them? And when her poor dog really seriously bites her son who will take the blame??
...and then there are people like this....

Re: you tube matted murray
Ahhh, they are so sweet. I love the one of the baby, they are obviously having great fun together. And yes, I will admit I still play like that guy with the puppy with both Minty and Simba! Minty is ten but occasionally he will act just like a puppy and loves playing rough and tumble. Simba just thinks everything is an excuse for a game and launches at you from about six foot away!
